Explore three private gardens in Nutley and Short Hills. No reservations required; rain or shine. Visit website for a complete garden description and driving directions. Special highlights include garden art, sculpture, tropical plantings, orchids, and roses.
When: Saturday, September 11, hours vary.
Where: Visitors may begin at either of the following locations: Garden of Silas Mountsier, 205 Rutgers Place, Nutley, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; or Garden of George Sternlieb, 66 Old Short Hills Road, Short Hills, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Cost: $5 per person; children under 12 free.
